Dr. Alex Keefer grew up in the Bay City/Saginaw area. He studied Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State University and went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He graduated from dental school in 2019 and has been working in private practice since. He is a member of the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In June 2023, Dr. Alex and his wife, Dr. Emily Keefer, opened Keefer Family Dentistry, located in Schoolcraft, Michigan.
Dr. Alex prides himself on building meaningful connections with patients and providing a relaxing environment for dental care. His interests in dentistry include utilizing the latest technologies to enhance patients’ dental experiences, as well as providing specialty work including root canals, wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, and Invisalign.
When not doing dentistry, Dr. Alex enjoys playing golf and hockey, and spending time with his wife and Bernese Mountain Dog, Bodhi. The Keefers both love to travel and enjoy live music and concerts. They are excited for the opportunity to become a part of the Schoolcraft community and look forward to meeting you.
